Established in 1895, the Bayswater Football Club has been a vital part of the local community for over 100 years. In that time the club has continued to provide not only an enjoyable sporting environment, but also a pathway for players to realise their potential and compete at the highest level.

Affiliated with the Eastern Football League, the biggest Australian rules football competition in terms of participation, we field a range of teams from our juniors through to our seniors.

Our home ground, Appleby Oval, is regarded as the showpiece of the Knox Council and the EFL, with an average attendance in excess of 1000 people. The ground has also hosted EFL Division 1 finals since 2001, attracting a record crowd of over 30,000 for the 2012 Grand Final.

Our facilities had major works completed in 2012 which included the establishment of a permanent seating ring around Appleby Oval, better spectator amenities, two elevated coaches boxes, as well as ground lighting for night football.

Our social club located upstairs includes seating for up to 200 people, superior balcony viewing of the ground, a fully catered bar, and television facilities. Members and their guests are always welcome to come upstairs and have a drink with the players or to just relax and enjoy the social atmosphere.
