Veterans football is for eligible players 32 years and over. Everyone is welcome, whether you have just finished playing or you last kicked a ball years ago and just want to get fitter. The object of the game is enjoyment and social harmony.

Veterans football does not require players who do not comply with the rules and spirit of the game.

The veterans competition was formed in 1993 and is made up of EFL sides across all divisions. Bayswater has been part of the competition for more than 20 years and has a proud history that includes eight Grand Final appearances, three consecutive premierships from 2003-05 and five competition Best and Fairest winners.

We encourage and promote a family atmosphere and have members from all around Bayswater and the surrounding areas.

Bayswater veterans do not see themselves as the end of football, but part of the cycle introducing their own family members into the junior ranks and when eligible, through to the seniors.

Bayswater veterans is a self-funded organisation (it takes a lot of tape and oil to get a veteran footballer out on the track these days!) and all coaches, players and committee members donate their own time to provide a sporting outlet for community members and their families.
